Many of you in the SL art world know about Douglas Story and his amazing close-up photos of flowers. Well, I managed to get him to show two brand-spanking-new photos, and let me tell you...the man can make flowers look sexy! He will be showing his work for the next month, and yes, it will be for sale. So you get your chance at adding some of his fabulous work to your collection.
Impressed and Pleased,
Synn

I love this. I really, really love this. The Russians did the original "You Got Served". Enjoy!

Where the Hell Have I Been?!
Haven't we all wondered that from time to time? You get a phonecall around 8am and the person on the other end says, "Hey, man! Where are you?" And you look around and say,"Fucked if I know...gimme a second." No, this has never happened to me, but I know a guy...
This is not the case with me. In fact, I know exactly where I have been physically. Mentally is another issue altogether. In SL, I unpartnered and wallowed around in that ridiculous mire of self-flagellation that many of us have gone through. In RL, I lost my job and then found another one. In the meantime, I have been playing around with the other artists in SL...and I have no idea why I didn't do it sooner. Have you SEEN these guys? Personally, the one that really grabbed me was Douglas Story. In fact, his own amazing photography has inspired me to try my hand at. Mine isn't near is good, but I can say that it is a start in the right direction (Yes, you can see my attempts at mediocrity at Gropius. Try not to laugh too hard). But really, take a look around at the artists in SL. "Fabulous" is too small of a word.
In related news, May 18th is Walter Gropius' birthday. In celebration of this, I have made a free gift of two scultptural lamps that are no longer for sale: Midnight Daisys and Midnight Roses. You can't get these anymore, so if you want one, go get it! I will have it up for another week or so. After that, you will have to beg if you want one. And I mean really beg...like, on your knees begging. If you want to get on your knees and beg for fun, you are more than welcome to. Just please set an appointment. I'm a busy woman.
Soon I should have another couple of artists in to show thier work, so I will keep you updated. In the meantime, I'm fine. We're all fine here...now.
How are you?
Together At Last,
Synn
PS: I'd like to give a special "Thank you!" to Berol Feller for reminding me that this blog still exists.
