Greetings and stuff....
So I haven't posted since August. I'm lazy. You wanna make something of it?
Actually, I am quite busy, mostly in RL. Something to do with getting a business back up and running. Its one of those things when no one really knows what in the hell they are supposed to be doing, so a couple of people end up doing all the work that the other people are supposed to help with, miscommunication, lack of communication...joyous, let me tell you. But I'm fine, really. I have not gnawed off my arms (or anyone else's arms), so that's a step in the right direction.
So what has been going on in SL? Glad you asked (and you did ask, right?). First off, Gropius is slowly dwindling down to a mere hole in the wall, mostly due to lack of Lindens and buyer's interest. People seem to like what I do, but not enough to buy it. Stupid recession... One of my main sources of income has ceased to be, and that makes me sad on a few levels. Club Necropolis, the place that I had been DJing at for over a year, has closed down. Actually, one year is pretty damn good. Not quite up there with Club Industry's longevity, but a great run nevertheless. I will definately miss it.
Now I am at Blood Rose on Thursdays from 7-9pm. I also DJ and stuff at Portland Connection. Speaking of Portland Connection, it's pretty neato! A bunch of really amazing and creative people got together and created Portland, Oregon in SL. The even offered me an Event Planner position. It's spiffy.
So on to the important stuff...your Holiday Rickroll. I have thoroughly enjoyed this Internet phenomenon, and not out of any particular love for the song. Mostly, it's because I am at that age that seeing Rick Astley do his white-boy groove kinda makes me misty-eyed and long for the Good Ol' Days (tm). But this particular Rickroll is a double-whammy for us Gen X-ers, as it combines an aggrivatingly catchy tune with one of the most beloved (and weird) Muppets: Beeker.
Enjoy this in good health, happiness and joy.
Never Gonna Give You Up.
